About the Role:
As a Territory Sales Rep, you’ll be the face of Next Step in Central California, building strong relationships with retailers, identifying sales opportunities, and representing our portfolio of gift brands. You’ll work independently while receiving strong support from our experienced team. This is a commission-based role with unlimited earning potential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a defined sales territory across Central California, with travel to visit customers in person.
- Develop and maintain relationships with independent retailers and specialty stores across the territory.
- Present and sell established vendor product lines to new and existing accounts.
- Participate in bi-weekly team meetings and various product trainings to ensure success.
- Attend industry trade shows to meet with retailers and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Prior experience in sales or retail.
- Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Willingness to travel daily to meet with store owners and buyers across the territory.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
